Oil prices in the world were mixed. In the USA, the cancellation of airline reservations due to the coronavirus affected oil prices.

Increasing coronavirus cases in the world affect oil price

Brent crude rose, while the USA light crude futures slumped after US airlines canceled thousands of flights over the Christmas holidays amid an increase in coronavirus cases.

The closest barrel price of Brent crude oil rose 0.3 percent to $76.34 today, after falling 0.92 percent on Friday.

The USA light crude fell 0.9 percent to $73.16.
