What is the price of 1 ton of rebar in Turkey?

Rebar prices in Turkey are increasing every day depending on the exchange rate. The Turkish lira equivalent of rebar prices, which did not show a significant change in dollar terms, increased by an average of 300tl depending on the exchange rate.

The current spot rebar prices evaluated by www.steelradar.com are as follows;

Istanbul rebar prices 16,600 TL (+300) / $651 (+3)

Izmir rebar prices 16.500 TL (+300) / 647$ (+3)

Karabuk rebar prices 16,500 TL (+300) / $647 (+3)

Payas rebar prices 16.500 TL (+300) / 647$ (+3)

Local scrap prices in Turkey have also seen upward corrections in line with the exchange rate, while imported scrap suppliers have also supported the increases in their price offers.

On the other hand, China has recently taken supportive measures for the struggling sector, which is a major driver of steel demand and considered one of the foundations of the country's economy. However, the measures are considered insufficient to sustain the recovery.
