According to the news of the UAE news agency WAM, UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who is visiting his country as part of his Gulf tour.
During the meeting, ways of cooperation, regional and international developments were discussed in order to develop a comprehensive strategic partnership between the UAE and Germany.
At the ceremony, which was also attended by UAE President Al Nahyan and German Chancellor Scholz, a series of agreements in the field of energy were signed between the relevant authorities and companies of the two countries.
An agreement has been reached between UAE national oil company ADNOC and German energy company Hoyer to supply up to 250,000 tons of diesel fuel per month in 2023.
According to the agreement signed between ADNOC and the German energy company RWM, it was stated that the UAE national oil company will supply the German company with liquefied natural gas, and the first shipment will be made at the end of 2022.
German Chancellor Scholz, who went to Saudi Arabia yesterday within the framework of the Gulf tour, went to Qatar today after his contacts in the UAE.
There were news in the German media that Scholz went on a Gulf tour to make negotiations and agreements in the field of energy.
