Imported scrap prices in Türkiye decreased amid tighter market conditions. A producer from the Marmara region reached a deal for HMS (80:20) scrap from Venezuela at $358/ton CFR Türkiye. However, the deal could not be confirmed.
European ports were under pressure as local rebar prices fell due to the halt in demand from Israel. Current offers are expected to be in the range of $350-355/ton CFR.
