Iron and steel markets were hoping for some movement for the return before the feast. However, the sector started the week calmly. While producer prices remained flat in the range of 600-620 USD / tonne, prices in the spot market tried to find demand in the range of 23,200-24,000 TRY including VAT.
Rebar sellers, who wanted to break the lack of appetite in the market, were ready to offer a discount of 100-250 TRY to buyers. But they could not catch the demand they expected.
