Türkiye's exports of semi-finished products decreased by 41.3% in January

Türkiye's exports of semi-finished products in January 2024 decreased by 41.3% compared to the same month last year.

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Türkiye's semi-finished exports in January 2024 decreased by 41.3% compared to the same month of the previous year, from 17,063 tons to 10,018 tons.

It decreased by 4.1% compared to the previous month, December 2023.

Romania ranked first in the list of countries to which Türkiye exported the most semi-finished products with 3,659 tons. Exports to Romania increased by 1730% compared to last year. Germany ranked second with 2,325 tons, while exports decreased by 45.8%. India ranked third in the export ranking, while exports to the country increased by 649% to 1,423 tons. Exports to Italy decreased by 92.7%. Brazil, which ranked fifth, exported 468 tons of semi-finished products for the first time in January.
