Türkiye's coke imports decreased by 82.4% in May

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's coke imports in May 2025 decreased by 8241% y/y from 105,545 tons to 18,564 tons. Compared to the previous month, April, it increased by 42.9%.

Total coke imports in January-May period decreased by 52,8% from 558 thousand 647 tons to 263 thousand 409 tons.

During the month in question, Russia and Italy, Russia and Indonesia ranked in the top 3 in Türkiye's coke imports. Coke imports from Italy amounted to 11,314 tons, followed by Russia with 5,250 and Indonesia with 2,000 tons.
