In February of this year, the United States saw a monthly decrease and a yearly increase in its imports of oil-country tubular products (OCTG). The country's OCTG pipe imports decreased by 19% compared to January and increased by 51% compared to February 2022, reaching approximately 232,000 tons.
Imports from South Korea were approximately 55,000 tons, imports from Canada were approximately 23,000 tons, imports from Taiwan were approximately 22,000 tons, imports from Mexico were approximately 19,800 tons, and imports from Japan were approximately 19,780 tons.
During this period, the import value was around 500 million US dollars.
