The transshipment of steel products at Russian ports decreased

The cargo turnover of Russian ports amounted to 482 million tons in January-July 2022. According to the press service of the Association of Russian Sea Trade Ports (ASOP), a decrease of 0,2% was observed compared to the same period last year.

In addition, the volume of transshipment of dry cargo amounted to 225.8 million tons (-5.1%), including the following products:

coal - 116.8 million tons (-2.9%),

cargo in containers - 27.2 million tons ( -23.5%),

grain - 18.6 million tons (-8.2%),

mineral fertilizers - 12.6 million tons (+17%),

ore - 8.2 million tons (+28, 7%),

ferrous metals - 15.6 million tons (-12.7%).
