Tata Steel starts operations at NINL plant

Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd (NINL) went into operation approximately 90 days after it was acquired by a Tata Steel subsidiary. NINL owns a 1.1 mnt integrated steel plant and a fixed iron ore mine in Jajpur, Odisha.

“We are now focused on gradually increasing production to nominal capacity as per plan,” said CEO Narendran.
