Yieh United Steel Corp (Yusco), one of the leading stainless steel manufacturers in Taiwan, has announced its new prices for March. The price of 304 and 430 stainless steel products for domestic sales has not changed, and the surcharge for 316L products will be negotiated separately.
In terms of export prices, the price of 304 and 430 was kept constant, and the surcharge of 316L was increased by 100/ton.
Yusco said the post-epidemic economy is gradually recovering with increased terminal demand due to slowing inflation, easing epidemic controls in China and decreasing European energy prices. The fact that recent raw material prices are still at a high level is still causing high production costs for steel producers. Yusco has made such a price adjustment for the next month based on the current market situation and costs.
