Taiwan’s Feng Hsin maintains scrap, rebar, section steel prices this week

Feng Hsin Steel Co. Ltd. announced to keep the purchasing price of scrap and the prices of rebar and section steel unchanged this week. The announcement was in line with market expectations.

Feng Hsin said that there were no offers from the US scrap shipment last week. During the same period, the price of Japan’s H2 scrap was maintained, the US containerized scrap price had a week-on-week increase of 1.75%, and Australia’s iron ore price was down by 0.46% week on week.

Due to the Qingming Festival holiday next week, Feng Hsin’s new price announcement will be delayed until April 11. However, if there are big changes in international scrap prices, the prices may still be adjusted.
