Steel exports to Bulgaria reached 47 million dollars

Turkey's exports to Bulgaria reached the highest monthly figure of all time with 483 million 279 thousand dollars.

Steel exports to Bulgaria reached 47 million dollars

Turkish exporters, who are at the forefront of epidemic and geopolitical fears, show great interest in alternative markets. Fairs and trade delegations held all over the world to support alternative markets are accelerating exports.

According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), Turkey's exports to Bulgaria reached the highest monthly figure of all time with 483 million 279 thousand dollars, with these effective strategies followed by the companies in exports. Thus, Turkey's exports to Bulgaria increased by 82.5 percent in July compared to the same period of the previous year. Bulgaria's share in Turkey's exports was 2.6 percent.

Bulgaria ranked tenth among the countries to which Turkey exports the most in July.

The chemical substances and products sector made the most exports to Bulgaria with 226 million 165 thousand dollars.

Industrial Products Placed First in Export
Chemicals and their products were followed by steel with 47 million 768 thousand dollars, ferrous and non-ferrous metals with 37 million 280 thousand dollars, mining products with 34 million 978 thousand dollars and electricity and electronics with 28 million 72 thousand dollars.

Companies from Ankara Exported the Most to Bulgaria
In July, companies from Ankara exported the most to Bulgaria. During this period, foreign sales of 207 million 698 thousand dollars were made to the country from Ankara.

Exports to Bulgaria amounted to 144 million 751 thousand dollars from Istanbul, 24 million 797 thousand dollars from Kocaeli, 11 million 413 thousand dollars from Izmir and 11 million 294 thousand dollars from Bursa.
