Spot iron prices are calmer than yesterday

Local rebar prices have been announced on September 30. Despite the falling scrap prices, the factories have not made any concessions on their sales prices yet. Spot iron prices, which fell fast yesterday due to the panic atmosphere, remained partially flat today. Producers may be waiting for a further decline in scrap to lower iron prices.

Izmir iron prices               14.500 TL (-100)

Karabuk iron prices           14.500 TL (0.00)

Payas iron prices               were announced as 14,800 TL (-50).
