Scrap and rebar prices increased in Turkiye

Local scrap prices continue increasing in Turkiye. Many factories such as Çolakoğlu, Kroman, Asil Çelik, Izmir Kardemir, Ege Çelik, Baştuğ in Payas have increased their scrap purchase prices in the range of 250-300t.

Shipbreaking scrap prices in İzmir /Aliağa region also increased by an average of $9/ton to $375/ton.

Selling prices at Turkish steel manufacturers range between $580-600/ton, while spot rebar prices differ based on regional demand.

İzmir rebar prices         20.000 TL  (+100) / 694,51 USD (+3,47)

Karabük rebar prices     20.200 TL  (0,00) / 701,45 USD  (0,00)

Payas rebar prices         20.400 TL  (0,00) / 708,40 USD  (0,00)
