Russian hot rolled coil export prices have decreased

Export prices for Russian HRC were estimated at $690-720/t FOB Black Sea on Friday, a decrease from $710-745/t FOB on March 30.

Prices for cold rolled coils also decreased, with quotes hovering around $770–805/t FOB Black Sea as opposed to $805–840/t FOB the week prior.

During the week, MMK's HRC offers in Turkey were at $720–730/t CFR. The non-sanctioned mill's workable level was estimated to be between $740 and 750/t CFR.

Domestic HRC prices in Russia were estimated to be between $630 and 640/t CPT, excluding 20% VAT.

An estimate for freight from Russia to Turkey is $30/t.

In comparison to SAE1006, Chinese Q195 HRC was offered at $665–670/t CFR Turkey. The quoted price for Indian and South Korean HRC was $730–740/t CFR.
