Russia to extend scrap export tariffs until the end of 2022

At the end of May, the Russian government extended this export tariff until July 31 .

The ministry previously said that it does not plan to introduce new export tariffs on metals like last year, but scrap export tariffs will remain in effect.

The scrap tariffs are aimed at supplying more raw materials when Russian steelmakers face sanctions pressure, Ruble fluctuations and fluctuations in raw material costs in foreign markets.
