Turkish producers have reduced their imported scrap purchases due to falling rebar prices and unfavorable conditions in the long steel market. However, on the shipbreaking side, HABAŞ and Izmir Iron and Steel updated their shipbreaking scrap prices, which have remained unchanged since early September.

On the other hand, the stagnation in the iron and steel market continues. While most of the producers are quoting prices of $580, spot market prices go down from $570 to $540 depending on the region.
