Rebar prices are on the rise in Türkiye. After the imported scrap connections that fell to the market at the close of last week, iron prices increased between 200-400tl today.
Imported scrap connections in Türkiye;
Iskenderun $405 - 80:20 / January delivery
Samsun 415$ - 80:20 435$ shred, bonus
Karabuk $407.25 80:20
Logistics and raw material cost increases caused iron prices to strengthen. All steel producers, especially Icdas A.S., increased their rebar prices by $10. The price increases increased the trading volume in the market.
Spot rebar prices by region, evaluated by www.steelradar.com on December 4, 2023, are as follows;
Istanbul rebar prices 21.100 TL (+300)
Izmir rebar prices 20.500 TL (+200)
Karabük rebar prices 20.800 TL (+200)
Payas rebar prices 21.400 (+400)
