Rebar prices in Turkey decreased by $10

The supply-demand imbalance continues to depress markets.

Rebar prices in Turkey decreased by $10
Price declines continue to occur in global markets due to excessive supply and demand imbalance. The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), with the support of the government, has urged local steelmakers to cut production to prevent price declines.
In Turkey, rebar prices have fallen by another $ 10 from yesterday to today. While leading steel mills do not change their list prices, they provide the opportunity to discount as much as they can in order not to miss the incoming demand. The prices of some factories were announced as follows;
İÇDAŞ
Icdas rebar prices

Biga;

Rebar (12-32mm) 690 USD

Plain Wire Rod 710 USD

Deformed Wire Rod 720 USD

Istanbul;

Rebar (12-32mm) 705 USD

Plain Wire Rod 725 USD

Deformed Wire Rod 735 USD

Tosyalı

Rebar 15.350 tl / 670$

Habaş

İnşaat demiri 675$

Rebar prices in factories vary between $670 and $675 per floor. However, trader-based prices fell as low as $660. This is considered an indication that producers are selling below the figure they say they are selling, or that traders are short selling.

The current rebar prices published by www.steelradar.com are as follows;

Istanbul rebar prices 662$ /15.200 TL (-200)

Izmir rebar prices 662$/ 15.200 TL (-200)

Karabuk rebar prices 662$ / 15.200 TL (-200)

Payas rebar prices 662$/ 15.200 TL (-50)
