Rebar prices continue to decline in Turkey

Turkey's scrap and rebar prices continue to decline. On Friday, it was heard that Baltic origin HMS 1&2 80:20 scrap was purchased at $403/t cfr.

According to market information, there were rumors that a US origin deal was concluded at $399/ton cfr, but the transaction was denied. It was also heard that a factory in the Marmara region purchased Romanian origin HMS 1&2 80:20 from Turkey at $365/tonne cfr.
