The iron and steel sector is witnessing sharp weekly decreases in rebar prices of Turkish steel mills.
Compared to last week, Turkish steel mills have cut rebar prices by $30-35. Istanbul mills are maintaining their list prices at $730, while sellers are selling as low as $720 depending on demand.
Kardemir is reported to have opened at $724, selling around 25,000 tons. Izmir factories are also expected to set prices between $710-720.
