The section produced using the electric resistance welding (ERW) method measures 300x300x20 mm. The company announced that this production was achieved for the first time in Türkiye.
Square sections with large cross-sections and high wall thicknesses can be used in load-bearing systems of steel structures, factory and warehouse buildings, industrial facilities, heavy machinery and equipment structures, infrastructure projects, and structural applications requiring high load-bearing capacity.
Production carried out at the Akçakoca facilities
MMZ Onur Boru’s production facilities are located in Akçakoca, Düzce. The company operates across 78,000 m² of open space and 38,000 m² of enclosed space. Its location provides access to the ports of Karadeniz Ereğli and the Gulf of İzmit.
In addition to ERW pipes, the company produces square and rectangular sections, open sections, and special-shaped sections. Its product range also includes black, galvanized, and aluminum ERW pipes.
MMZ Onur Boru’s production lines can process high-strength steel grades such as S420, S500, and S700. The company manufactures its products in accordance with national and international standards including TSE, EN, ASTM, and ISO.
MMZ Onur Boru had previously expanded its product portfolio to include products with high wall thicknesses, launching production of square and rectangular sections with wall thicknesses of 14 mm and 16 mm.
