Marcegaglia ranked among Sustainability Leaders for the fourth consecutive year

Italian steel giant Marcegaglia has once again demonstrated its commitment to sustainability, earning a place on the 2025 roster of Leading Companies in Sustainability.” Compiled by Statista in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore, the ranking marks the company’s fourth straight appearance, underscoring its ongoing commitment to responsible growth.

Marcegaglia ranked among Sustainability Leaders for the fourth consecutive year

This year’s assessment reviewed the financial statements and sustainability reports of more than 5,000 industrial companies across Italy. Following a detailed evaluation, 240 companies met the highest standards of transparency and sustainable operations to secure a position on the list.

The analysis focused on three core dimensions:

Environmental Performance – waste management, emissions, energy efficiency, and water usage

Social Responsibility – diversity, employee training, and occupational safety

Governance – corporate transparency, financial stability, and sustainable growth strategies

In a statement, Marcegaglia emphasized: “The award recognises our Group's ongoing commitment to a responsible industrial model, with a concretely future-oriented vision. For us, sustainability is not just a goal, but a guiding principle that permeates our daily actions.”
