India has the world's 5th largest coal reserves, 2nd largest coal producer and net fuel exporter.
Market analyst Amrit Lee Meena said that coal will be supplied from its reserves in the next 2 years. He also states that a product far above the demand will be encountered, and that coal exports will begin in the 2026 fiscal year.
According to another statement of the analyst, 880 million tons of coal produced from April 1 will increase to 1 billion tons next year, and its coal is planned to be exported to neighboring countries such as Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
The government's commercial mining plans, which offer incentives for early production, are important as they continue to be net coal importers.
Coal supply, which will meet the electricity and clean energy demands to a large extent, has no deficiency in terms of its adequacy for power plants.
