In December 2022, the import of flat stainless steel products of Russia amounted to 20.5 thousand tons. The financial value of the imports is worth $64 million.
The cost of deliveries decreased by 4% m-o-m and by 45% y-o-y. Compared to the previous month, the volume of shipments increased by 3% and decreased by 50% y-o-y.
According to December calculations, the average price at the Russian border decreased by 7% compared to the previous month. Compared to the same period of the previous year, the price increased by 10% and amounted to $3150 per ton.
Russia's receipt volume for 2022 decreased by 22% compared to the previous year to 300 thousand tons. The cost of the consumables was about $970 million. (%-46).
