The Chinese government, which reduced its coal import tariffs to zero last April, announced that it will continue this program until the end of 2023.
In this context, it will also extend some tax policies.
In January-February, coal imports increased by 71% compared to the beginning of 2022, thanks to China's increased trade of imported coal from Indonesia and the lifting of foreign trade restrictions with Mongolia.
The government also stated that it will continue policies such as tax cuts for small companies and individual businesses until the end of 2024.
