According to the data, Germany's crude steel production decreased by 3.8% y-o-y to around 3.19 million tonnes in April. Meanwhile, Germany's pig iron and hot-rolled steel output decreased by 3.4% and 7.2% y-o-y to 2.07 million tonnes and 2.73 million tonnes, respectively.
In the first four months of this year, Germany's crude steel production decreased by 5.9% y-o-y to 12.35 million tonnes.
In the same period, Germany's pig iron production decreased by 1.8% y-o-y to 8.14 million tonnes. Hot-rolled steel production also decreased by 6.5% y-o-y to 10.89 million tonnes.
