Dongkuk Steel plans to produce a large number of color steel plates

Dongkuk Steel, one of the pioneers of the steel market, aims to produce more than 1,600 steel plates and premium quality stainless steel resistant to harsh weather conditions.

Korean company Dongkuk Steel, which produces more than 10,000 colored steels and has 30 patents, completed the construction of its 9th steel production plant on September 28 and increased its capacity by 100,000 tons to 850,000.

The company aims to produce more than 1,600 high quality color steel plates.

Dongkuk company, which combines laminated steel sheets with UV coating processes for the first time in the world, stated that it will produce a premium steel that can remain stainless for more than 20 years and is resistant to harsh weather conditions.

Donguk Steel's share of the color steel market in 2020 was 10% above Posco Coated Steel and KG Dongbu Steel.

He also stated that he invested 30 billion won ($25.3/million) in July for colored steel plates last year.
