The company announced that the installation of the last concrete block weighing 400 tons has been completed in the construction of the bridge, which is an important part of the first phase of the Red Sea Target Project, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
The iconic 1.2km bridge is part of the 3.3km crossing from the mainland to the project's main hub island, Shurayrah. According to an official source at TRSDC, the bridge was designed "to be an architectural landmark while protecting and preserving the environment during construction and operation of the bridge, in accordance with the highest environmental commitment and sustainability standards."
According to the news of the Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, it was stated that the construction of the basic structure of the bridge has been completed and the asphalt works are continuing.
