In the year before the sanctions imposed by Iran and Arabia on each other (2014), the trade volume of mining and mineral industries was determined as 82.8 million dollars. It is estimated that the export volume of the Arabian mining and mineral industries will amounted to 150 to 200 million dollars in 2023 with the common sense approach of the two countries in the new year, increasing the import volume of the Arabian mining and mineral industries and Iran's positive approach to this issue. Along with cement, steel, zinc and building stones to a limited extent, sponge iron producers expect Iran's exports to Saudi Arabia to increase. In addition, about 96% of the products exported to Saudi Arabia were billets. The trade relations between Iran and Arabia show that this year, more than 14 million dollars in total, on the basis of 30,000 tons of billet, has been exported for the export of metal products, especially in the field of steel and zinc.
Commercial relations between Iran and Arabia have surpassed political relations
In 2023, the trade volume of Arabia's mining and mineral industries is expected to increase, as well as the demand for the export of metal products.
