In the fourth quarter of 2022, shipments of steel products increased by 13% y-o-y to 3.84 million short tons, and Cleveland-Cliffs expects steel products shipments to reach 16 million short tons, an increase of 8.5% this year.
The company's steel products, which increased last year, include hot rolled coils 34%, hot-dip galvanized steel coils 29%, cold rolled coils 13%, steel plates 5%, stainless and silica steel 5%, and plates and rails.
