In particular, 200 series stainless steel production increased by 1.7% m-o-m to 0.956 million tons.
Production of 300 series steel rose 3.28% from July to 1.678 million tons. The 400 series steel produced 0.583 million tons, up by 0.74%.
Stainless steel production in China is expected to remain at high levels in September.
