In the first quarter of 2023, Brazilian Gerdau's net income increased by 9.4% yoy to 3.2 billion Brazilian reais (USD 646,020,896.00).
The company's adjusted EBITDA amounted to 4.3 billion reais. This is the second highest figure of the first quarter.
Gerdau's crude steel production increased by 4.2% to approximately 2.99 million tons, while sales of steel products increased by 11.5% to 2.98 million tons.
