Steel production has been declining in Germany! 3.2 million tons of crude steel was produced in June, 2022.
According to the production quantities that were announced Germany's crude steel production decreased by 7% compared to June last year.
When the first half of this year and the first half of last year are compared it is seen that the production decreased by 5.5%.
Germany whose crude steel production has decreased due to energy prices affected by the Russian-Ukrainian tension and logistical problems is struggling to cope with its global rivals.
In addition to silicon steel production, crude steel production decreased by 8% and hot rolled steel production decreased by 7.9%.
