Organized by the cooperation of Messe Frankfurt Istanbul and Hannover Fairs Turkey, Automechanika Istanbul Plus fair, after a break of more than two years, offered new business opportunities for all automotive industry professionals and the opportunity to establish business contacts with significant potential for export.
Automechanika Istanbul Plus, where product groups that have an important place in Turkey's automotive sector exports are exhibited, was held for the first time this year on the PLUS digital platform, which allows professionals from all over the world to experience the exhibition from afar, simultaneously with the physical activity in the exhibition area.
Automechanika Istanbul Plus, which set out with the aim of providing more job opportunities to automotive industry professionals, brought together 652 exhibitors and 32,758 industry professionals from 121 countries this year. Despite international travel restrictions, the number of foreign visitors reached 9,570. The PLUS digital platform enabled a total of 27,876 industry professionals from Turkey and abroad to attend the fair and follow new trends and industry developments. Within the scope of the "Buyer Delegation Programme", 37 purchasing delegations from 8 countries, mainly from Europe, the Middle East and Africa, participated in the fair.
In the sessions that lasted for 4 days within the scope of Automechanika Academy, more than 20 speakers and panelists shared their views with interactive sessions, presentations and conversations about all developments and trends, which are closely related to automotive industry professionals, especially mobility and logistics technologies of the future.
Automechanika Istanbul will be the meeting point of the automotive industry in Istanbul Tuyap Fair and Congress Center between 2-5 June 2022 next year.
