Austrian steelmaker Voestalpine did not expect a record net profit for this period due to rising costs and weak demand, but reported it to be 615 million euros compared to 259 million euros in the same period last year.
During this period, the company's revenue increased by 35.3 percent year on year to 4.6 billion euros.
