In August this year, US steel coil imports fell by 20% on a monthly basis and 34% on a yearly basis to around 88,000 tons.
Imports from Canada were about 47,600 tons, from Mexico about 11,000 tons, from the Netherlands about 8,400 tons and from France about 6,200 tons.
The value of imports during this period amounted to approximately US$ 86 million.
