In September this year, US rebar imports fell by 64% on a monthly basis and 49% on a yearly basis to around 55,500 tons.
Imports from Egypt were about 25,300 tons, from Algeria about 11,500 tons, from Mexico about 11,100 tons and from Canada about 6,500 tons.
The value of imports during this period amounted to around US$ 34 million.
