U.S. steel profile exports such as U, I, H, L and T type amounted to 36,900 tons in January 2023, an increase of 28% compared to December 2022 and a 27% increase compared to January 2022.
Exports to Canada increased by 61.2% m-o-m and 21% y-o-y to about 26,000 tons, while exports to Mexico amounted to about 10,100 tons.
Export value increased by 33.1% m-o-m and 26.1% y-o-y to approximately USD 50 million.
