US crude steel production fell slightly by 0.7% on a weekly basis and increased by 2.3% yoy to 1 million 722 thousand tons. Capacity utilization rate was realized as 75.7% in this period.
Year-to-date production decreased by 1.3% yoy to 66 million 770 thousand tons, while capacity utilization rate stood at 76%.
