In August this year, US imports of cold rolled coil (CRC) fell by 15% on a monthly basis and 31% on a yearly basis to around 98,000 tons.
Imports from Canada were around 44,000 tons, Mexico around 8,800 tons, Australia around 8,600 tons and Sweden around 8,000 tons.
The value of imports during this period amounted to approximately US$ 114 million.
