The United States decided to continue imposing compensatory duties on carbon and alloy steel wire rods imported from Italy.
According to the ministry, the removal of CVD order may lead to a continuation or repetition of the incentive for compensatory tax.
The tax rate for Ferriera Valsider is set at 44.18%, while the tax rate for Ferriere Nord and all other Italian exporters is set at 4.16%.
It was reported that the compensatory tax will be valid from 28th March, 2023.
