Ukraine's rolled metal production for the period January-November 2023 has been announced

According to the data of OP "Ukrmetalurgprom", in January-November 2023, Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises produced 4.86 million tons of rolled metal (92.8% compared to the same period in 2022), of which, according to the Expert Scientific Council of UAVtormet, 100 million tons of rolled metal were exported 2.64 million tons, or 54.4%. In the same period of 2022, the share of exports was 80.4% (4.21 million tons with a total production of 5.24 million tons of rolled metal).

The share of semi-finished products in export deliveries for 11 months of 2023 is 41.79%, which is significantly lower than the figure for the same period in 2022 (43.31%). 

In January-November 2023, the capacity of the domestic market was 3246.6 thousand tons of rolled metal, of which 1026.6 thousand tons or 31.62% was imported. In the same period of 2022, the capacity of the domestic market was 1577.6 thousand tons, of which 549.6 thousand tons or 34.86% were imported. Thus, for 11 months of 2023, there is an increase in the capacity of the domestic market compared to January-November 2020 by 105.79%, with a simultaneous reduction in the share of the import by 3.22%.
