UK temporarily halts anti-dumping tariffs on hot rolled steel imports from Russia and Iran

The UK Consumer Protection Authority (TRA) announced that the UK government has taken the decision to suspend anti-dumping duties on hot rolled steel originating from Russia and Iran to a 25% protective duty, until the import quota is exceeded.This suspension applies to 34 specific items covered by codes beginning with 7208, 7211, 7225, and 7226. As soon as the quota is exceeded, anti-dumping duties for Iran will be 17.9%, and for Russia, will range from 5.3% to 33%.
