Due to the difficult financial process of energy companies in the UK, it was announced that the energy bills of the households are expected to increase by about 30 percent next year.

"These figures reflect significant increases in the period since our last default tariff cap estimate," said Craig Lowrey, Senior Advisor to Cornwall Insight. used the phrase.

Ofgem had set the annual upper limit of annual bills per household at £1,277, effective from 1 October, in order to avoid any damage from rising energy prices.

The upper price limit on consumers' energy bills in the UK was introduced in January 2019 for the first time, and has been re-evaluated twice a year until now.

9 ENERGY COMPANIES BANKRUPT

9 energy companies, including Avro Energy, People's Eneergy, Greensupplier Ltd, Utility Point, Igloo, PFP Energy, Symbio, MoneyPlus Energy and Enstroga, which had difficulty in reflecting the rapidly rising energy prices to their customers and whose financial balances deteriorated in the last month, went bankrupt.

Kwasi Kwarteng, the British Minister of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, had previously promised that they would resolve the high price crisis that occurred in the country due to insufficient supply in the face of increasing natural gas demand.

Kwarteng stated that providing credit support to large-scale energy companies that cannot fully reflect the increasing natural gas prices to consumers directly due to the upper price cap application could be considered as an option.
