UAE extends ban on scrap exports

The UAE has extended the prohibition period on scrap exports to support the domestic market. The spread of the coronavirus and  increase in the domestic market's demand for scrap have caused it was consistently continued. The start date of this ban has been set between 15 May til 15 September 2020. According to the statements of the UAE Ministry of Economy , the ban on scrap and paper exports was extended to 5 months in 2020.
