SteelRadar, based on data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), reports that Türkiye’s HRC exports in April fell by 24.6% year-on-year from 291,641 tons to 219,991 tons.
On a month-on-month basis, exports also decreased by 23.3%, falling from 287,865 tons in March to 219,991 tons in April.
In the January–April period, total HRC exports declined by 16.82% year-on-year, from 1,000,957 tons to 832,615 tons.
During this period, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, and Egypt were among the leading export destinations for Türkiye’s HRC, remaining the main export markets in the first four months of the year.
