According to Worldsteel, crude steel production worldwide increased by 0.6 percent to 150.0 million tons in October. In line with this global trend, Türkiye produced 3.0 million tons of crude steel in October, up 4.2%.
Moreover, on a m-o-m basis, Türkiye's steel production increased by 7.14%. However, total crude steel production, which was 30.1 million tons in the January-October period, decreased by 8.64% to 27.5 million tons compared to the same period last year.
