Türkiye consumes fast on EU quotas: Completed quotas for four products

In the new period of European Union (EU) quotas, Türkiye quickly used up some of its quotas between April 1st and June 30th. In terms of quota filling and product utilization, Türkiye used all of its quotas in four product categories.

Türkiye fully utilized its initial quota of 116,233 tons of wire rod, 1,536 tons of railway materials, 97,140 tons of hollow sections and 14,743 tons of pipes (wide seam).

It used 11.92% of its quota for organic coated sheets, 6.55% of its quota for stainless HR quarto plate, 20.71% of its quota for commercial bars and light sections, 29.71% of its quota for pipes (other seam), 10.06% of its quota for non-alloy steel wire, 25.45% of its quota for rebar and 3.14% of its quota for HRC.

India, on the other hand, used 52,960 tons of 4A metallic coated sheets quota, 77,600 tons of organic coated sheets quota and 31,333 tons of stainless bars and light sections quota.

China used only 126,603 tons of 4B metallic coated sheets quota.
